Who are we?
Francis Machine Solutions was founded in 2001 by father and son, Terry and Richard Francis after many years experience in the industry to give a fresh approach to the supply of amusement and gaming machines to the licensed trade. We are based in Stourport on Severn, Worcestershire which is in the heart of the UK, not far from The Midlands and Birmingham city centre. We cover the areas spreading North, East, South and West from Stoke, Nottingham, Bristol and Wales.

How do we collect information from you?
We obtain information about you when you use our website, for example, when you complete the contact form or engage with other forms within our site. We will also collect information that you chose to give us when you enter a sales agreement with us.
What type of information is collected from you?
When you fill in our contact form, you are agreeing for us to store the information you give us, which is your name and email address. When you enter a sales contract with us, we will ask for further details, which are your address and phone number. If you enter a direct debit agreement with us, you will complete a direct debit mandate form, from this we will store your payment details securely. If you ask us to complete your Machine Games Duty (MGD) return, we will require your address and your MGD number. When you pay for a purchase via credit/debit card, your payment details are collected by our third party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below under ‘Who has access to your information?’
How is your information used?
The Data Protection Act 2018 says that we are only allowed to use and share your personal data when we have a proper reason to do so. These reasons are:
- Consent – where you agree to us using your information in this way e.g. for storing your email address for invoicing purposes.
- Contract – your personal information is processed in order to fulfil a contractual arrangement e.g. your address for delivery of machines.

Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information
When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely. Any sensitive information (such as credit or debit card details) is encrypted and protected with the following software 128 Bit encryption on SSL. When you are on a secure page, a lock icon will appear on the bottom of web browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Non-sensitive details (your email address etc.) are transmitted normally over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
